Shipping Overview

At LightingCity.com we offer you free FREE FedEx Ground Shipping for orders over $29 (to the 48 contiguous US states) and give you the option to upgrade shipping methods for an additional price. We want to make sure that you receive our product right on your doorstep at low shipping rates.

Shipping Confirmation

You will receive an email confirmation when you place your order and a second email to confirm shipment of merchandise.

Processing Times

Please see individual product Availability for processing time. Some items ship same day (if ordered by 1PM CST), some ship in 1-3 business days after your order has been placed. Please take that into account when you calculate your expected arrival date. For example if you select overnight shipping on an item that "Ships in 1-3 business days", it will take 1-3 business days to process your order and once processed you will receive it the day after your order has been processed.

Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii

Orders shipped to Alaska and Hawaii do not qualify for the Free Shipping offer. HI and AK orders are shipped by USPS Priority Mail. Transit time is 7-10 business days. Add item to your cart to determine shipping costs.

Shipping to Canada

We ship to Canada by USPS International Priority Mail. Transit time is 7-12 business days. At delivery you will be responsible for all custom charges for your country. When ordering from LightingCity.com, you are considered the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the goods. LightingCity.com will not be held responsible for any export documentation associated shipping your order outside the US. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the purchaser on all returned orders. Refunds will be for the merchandise amount only. FAQ

Does free shipping apply to Canada as well?

No, unfortunately orders shipped to Canada do not qualify for free shipping. We ship to Canada using USPS International Priority Mail. Please see 'Shipping to Canada' for details on our shipment to Canada policy.

Is the shipping policy same for Alaska and Hawaii?

No, for Alaska and Hawaii we use USPS Priority Mail and therefore cannot provide the free shipping. Please see 'Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii' for more details.

Are orders shipped on the same day?

We try to ship items on the same business day if orders are placed by 1PM and the product is available to ship. If the item is not available then it may take 1-3 business days to ship the product. Orders received on Fridays after 1pm or during weekends will be shipped on the following Monday morning.

What if I receive damaged shipment? (Freight Damage Policy)

It is very important that you thoroughly inspect the merchandise before signing and accepting it. If you notice any damage, then refuse the item and write the information on the delivery receipt. Call our customer service immediately and inform us of the damage. We will send you a replacement at the original price and credit you once we get back the original.

If you accept the merchandise from the carrier without properly inspecting it and discover damage later, it is your responsibility to claim damages from the carrier.
